My skin is very fair, with redness around the nose and across my cheeks. I'm not prone to break-outs, though I do experience itchiness and irritation when my skin comes across harsh ingredients. That's one of the main reasons why I use Pur Minerals products on my skin - the product lists are always fairly short and I don't react to the ingredients within. I used the shade Light in this formula and it's a little on the yellow side for my skin tone - although I can easily blend it out and create a better color match for myself with powder/blush/bronzer. The coverage is light to medium (you can build it up a bit) which I like because I prefer a natural face of makeup, as opposed to a flawless look. The lasting power is average - the product needs to be touched up around my chin and nose every 4 hours or so.
My one gripe with this product - in fact, the entire Pur Minerals makeup line - is that it is not a 4-in-1 product (moisturizer, primer, foundation, concealer). That claim is beyond ridiculous and completely diminishes terrific products (that serve one purpose).
I will repurchase this foundation at some point because I appreciate the fact that it doesn't irritate my skin, and I like the coverage/finish. I'm currently using the Pur Minerals Tinted Moisturizer since my skin is extra dry at the moment. And I'd like to try their new, spray foundation too...but I know I'll get back to the good old 4-in-1 liquid mineral foundation at some point.
I also squeezed out the last of Epitome Skincare's Eyebright Intensive Eye Cream and am still considering this one. I use a lot of Epitome products in my skincare routine, and this is the very first item that I don't feel super passionate about. I remember that I absolutely LOVED it when I first began using the cream earlier this summer. But I think my skin is just so crazy parched right now that I might need to mix it up and find one that's a little richer, for the time being.
So that's it, for now. I'm going to pat myself on the back over finishing up these products and will try to carry that good feeling over to other products in my stash as well. Must declutter and actually use what I have! In the meantime, let me know:
