I recently finished up a few skincare products and realized each of them are constants in my daily routine. Derma-E Purifying Daily Detox Scrub is a creamy charcoal exfoliator that's gentle on my sensitive skin. It foams up just a bit and exfoliates without stripping my dry cheeks of moisture. I use this scrub most mornings to slough off any dryness, so makeup goes on nicely.
Andalou Naturals CannaCell Dream Night Cream is a recent-ish addition to my nighttime skincare routine. The cream is nice and thick, blends in quickly, leaves my skin feeling plump, and has a pleasant citrus scent. It saw me through the last 6 weeks of winter/spring (springter?) here in Minnesota and kept my face from feeling like a day-old bagel upon waking up in the morning. I bought a second tub to see how well it works in the more-humid summer months. I'll let you know how that goes.
Andalou Naturals Meyer Lemon + C Creamy Cleanser gets some action, day and night. It's my second cleanse in the evening, after a cleansing oil removes my makeup. This thick cleanser doesn't foam up at all, which takes a little getting used to (if you're used to foam; if not, carry on). It washes away any excess oil and smudges of mascara, while leaving my skin hydrated and happy. It has a very frontal citrus scent, which is to be expected given the whole "Meyer Lemon" thing in the name. I especially like that burst of citrus under my nose when I use this cleanser first thing in the morning - usually on days when I wake up feeling a little extra dry but don't want to exfoliate.
Do you switch up face wash seasonally, or do you stick with an old faithful year round?
